Mustang Freightways Ltd is looking for a LCV Certified Class 1 Driver in Acheson.

Since 1996 Mustang Freightways has grown into a reputable regional carrier leading the industry with legendary service. Mustang is a general freight carrier offering both LTL & truckload transportation in Alberta and British Columbia.

Pay:
Base rate is $.581/mile and $0.681/mile when pulling turnpikes

Basic Duties:

Primarily hauling LTL loads between the Edmonton and Fort McMurray
Complete daily logs and comply with hoursofservice regulations
Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle
May be required to chain up from time to time

Qualifications:

Valid Class 1 license
25 years Class 1 driving experience & longhaul experience
LCV Certification and experience
Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding safe operation of extended lengths, hours of service, and handling of dangerous goods
Previous experience pulling flat decks considered an asset
Ability to chain up as required
Strong command of the English language
And a positive attitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs manually
Comfortable with night driving
Comfortable with a varying departure time
