MANA is seeking Full-Time Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our growing team. This role is a FULL TIME and ONE SITE/IN OFFICE.

What you'll do as a Payroll & Benefits Administrator:

  • Complete payroll administration by ensuring timely and accurate pay processing in accordance with Canadian Payroll Association, Employment Standards, Canada Revenue Agency, and company policies.
  • Administer full benefits program
  • Extended Health & Dental, RRSP program, EAP, Incentive Program and STD/LTD case management, determining eligibility, enrolment, entitlement inquiries and implementation of changes to the individual's personal circumstances.
  • First point of contact regarding payroll and benefits inquiries by employees and leadership in a timely manner.
  • Complete administration of payroll and benefit accounts and statements (general payroll, remittances, garnishments, WSIB remittances, extended medical benefits, RRSP/RPP programs).
  • Process Records of Employment and other required documentation.
  • Assist with yearend reconciliations, preparation of T4 and related reports & summaries.
  • Monitor accurate employee records in Payroll/ HRIS systems, process all payroll changes, scan and file all Payroll and HR related documents.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of employee data setup which includes processing of hiring paperwork, appropriate taxation forms, direct deposit enrolment, change and process final payroll for terminations.
  • Maintain and update electronic HR files, including efiles and data maintained within Human Resources information System.
  • Provide input on payroll policies and procedures; review related processes for efficiency and process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain, track and provide reports on all vacation, attendance and sick leave hours.
  • Other Payroll & HR duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or working towards would be an asset.
  • 5+ years related experience in payroll/benefits/human resources. Manufacturing industry specific would be an asset.
  • Proven ability to complete full cycle payroll.
  • Indepth knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and other HR related legislation.
  • Ability to prioritize activities and multitask in a busy work environment
  • High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
