Technical Service Coordinator (Quebec city) for a permanent, full time position.

The technical service coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day service activities (maintenance contracts, service calls, mechanical overhauls, small installations, etc) for the industrial refrigeration department.


YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Assign technicians to service calls based on their skill set.
  • Verify and ensure work orders are completed and properly directed.
  • Accurately record and process technicians' hours worked in the computerized management system for payroll.
  • Participate in the procurement and supply chain for parts required for technicians' interventions.
  • Coordinate training for technicians and potentially customers, if required.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, invoicing, accounts payable, and management teams to perform job duties effectively.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

  • Technically inclined (knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems is an asset)
  • Experience in dispatching/scheduling an asset;
  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in team coordination function;
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel;
  • Mastery of the use of the computer for business purposes in general;
  • Strong communication skills in French and ability to communicate in English in a customer service context is an asset.
