Conduct ongoing generative and evaluative research, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative methods, to inform design requirements
- Work closely with product managers and cross functional teams to understand requirements and translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that align with product goals
- Employ rapid testing and iteration of designs following a user-centered approach
- Analyze market trends and user feedback to optimize product offerings and proactively identify opportunities for enhancements and innovations
- Adapt and iterate designs based on evolving customer needs and market dynamics
- Ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience across all products and platforms with a focus on driving user activation and retention
- Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Hold teams to a higher standard of quality and measure progress toward desired outcomes and standards (e.g. patterns and principles)
- Own the complete design cycle from research to final creatives of the product
- 6+ years of Product Design (UX/UI) experience working on a world-class product or online service (Fintech / B2B experience an asset)
- A solid grasp of user-centered design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
- A strong portfolio that illustrates a range of strategic thinking, research, problem-solving, user experience and visual design skills
- Can speak clearly to tradeoffs and the "Why" behind design decisions in terms non-designers can understand and participate in
- The ability to think long term towards a broader vision or step change, while being able to speak to scoping and sequencing to deliver iterative value
- A true focus on the customer—you make your design decisions with insight, including interviews, usability testing and quantitative data
- A passion for the "why" of design, as well as the "what"
