WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • As a Quality ControlInspector, you will lead the Quality program in developing and implementing the quality program and projectspecific quality plans.
  • Ensure adequacy of quality control and quality assurance measures for the scope of work, addressing project requirements.
  • Coordinate and support quality control and quality assurance activities on the project including QA/QC meetings, quality checklists, inspection and testing, deficiency management, and managing quality records.
  • Train and provide support to the project team to ensure their familiarity with the quality plan requirements and a clear understanding of their authorities and responsibilities in the process.
  • Participate in project meetings as necessary to communicate and address qualityrelated matters.
  • Ensure that all quality records associated with the implementation of the quality program are received, reviewed, and maintained in accordance with the project's document control structure.
  • Assist in identifying project risks and determining the necessary quality control and quality assurance measures.
  • Assist in onsite inspections and documentation to verify that various construction activities are completed in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

  • A relevant diploma or certification in quality control, engineering, construction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector.
  • Knowledge and experience with relevant certifications such as ISO9001, CSA A66010, W47.1, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, CSA B51, TSSA, and CWB.
  • Previous experience in quality control and inspection, particularly in the context of the specified codes and standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective QA/QC methods and practices to enhance project performance.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with project managers, client representatives, and 3rd party inspectors.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining various documentation including Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and Weld Procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of and adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Efficient coordination of 3rd party inspection activities, NDE, TSSA, and other related processes.
