Position Summary


As a Co-ordinator Performance and Learning within our Human Resources - Admin Department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative, co-ordination, and learning development tasks to support the HR Performance and Learning function.


Responsibilities:

What will your typical day look like?
Administers and co-ordinates HR policy-related learning programs (e.g., Respectful Workplace, People Management, etc.).

Coordinates classroom and online learning courses including scheduling dates, administering the course registration process and booking of rooms, instructors and vendors.

Maintains course calendar of HR Performance and Learning courses. Provides advice and guidance to management and staff on HR Performance and Learning policies, processes and programs.

Develops and maintains information and resources related to HR Performance and Learning policies, programs and processes on the HR Intranet site.

Maintains online learning records in HRMS specific to HR policy-related learning programs. Tracks organization-wide compliance with mandatory HR training and provides gap reporting to the HR Management team.

Compiles and analyzes information pertinent to the HR Performance and Learning function utilizing data from HRMS and other sources (e.g., information gathered from assessment and evaluation activities).

Utilizes online learning management portals to register, track, and report on learner engagement and participation.

Researches and compiles information for the development of curriculum content and for the selection of potential vendors, instructors, and speakers in the development of HR Performance and Learning programs and resources.

Assists the Supervisor-Performance and Learning with the assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation of HR-related training programs including eLearning modules, classroom and virtual instructor-led courses, and supplementary learning materials and resources.

Delivers/facilitates some HR learning programs.
Administers learning and development activities to support HR staff learning needs.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


You are someone with:

A Community College Diploma in Human Resources or Adult Education/Learning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A related professional designation (Certified Human Resources Professional) is preferred.
A minimum of two years Learning & Development experience required

MS PowerPoint-Intermediate

Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated presentation/facilitation skills
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated co-ordination and administrative skills
Demonstrated analytical, research and problem solving skills
Demonstrated knowledge of learning and development practices and procedures
Knowledge of adult learning principles and/or learner experience design best practices
Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (Class G) with full driving privileges

What we offer
The salary range for this permanent, full-time position is $49, $77,451.00 per annum. Peel Regional Police offers a highly competitive compensation package.
