Profile:


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage multiple event and fundraising campaign websites to promote the organization's fundraising efforts, encourage participation, and facilitate support through ticket sales, donations, and sponsorship.
  • Ensure the corporate website and MODC's satellite websites have current content, and accurately promote campaign and fundraising initiatives.
  • Create and distribute digital marketing material for all fundraising campaigns, including evites and enewsletters with the collaboration of our designers.
  • Ensure online marketing content, and satellite websites are developed with WCAG AA/AAA and enhanced accessibility standards.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (and external vendors, if/when required) to support any webrelated activities.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • 3+ years experience in web content management and/or digital marketing, within an agency or inhouse role.
  • Strong, working knowledge of common programming languages (such as HTML, CSS) and ability to hard code content as needed.
  • Intermediate to advanced working experience creating custom WordPress and pledgebased websites.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, with a focus on organizational layout and user experience.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Google Analytics and Content Management Software.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and flexibility to handle ongoing web changes and/or updates.
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines, in a fastpaced, multiproject environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to draw conclusions and determine strategies based on data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and relationship development skills, using a high degree of tact and diplomacy to work collaboratively with crossfunctional partners within the organization and external partners
  • Selfmotivated with a passion for web creation and digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of WCAG AA/AAA accessibility standards, and full AODA compliance requirements.

  • This position reports to our national Brand Marketing team, based out of Toronto.
  • This position works within a hybrid model of working primarily remotely with the expectation to occasionally working from the office as needed.
