ABOUT YOUR ROLE

  • As an Intern, Strategic Asset Allocation, you'll participate in one or more of the following projects:

Testing and implementation of a new economic scenario generator Development of an internal system to determine the long-term capital markets assumptions Review of the value-added objectives for private markets Other duties, as assignedWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORCurrently in a Master Degree program (Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering) High academic achievement Professional certification (completion or in pursuit of CFA, FRM, ASA/FSA or similar certification) an asset- WHAT YOU'LL NEED- Strong mathematic and analytical skills Thorough understanding of finance theory and quantitative techniques applied to portfolio construction and risk managementKnowledge of Python in particular is an asset Good understanding of stochastic asset models Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (_Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)_- Options include Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid open work permit.- This position is located at our Montreal offices.
