Job Summary:

The Project and Logistics Manager will manage manufacturing and development of Medicure's products, as assigned.

This position will require cross-department collaboration with Regulatory, Scientific Affairs and Quality departments, reporting of progress and ensuring budgets and timelines are adhered to.

The position requires managing external manufacturing, research and clinical vendors, and ensuring adherence to cGMP and quality standards.

The Project and Logistics Manager will also coordinate other tasks such as non-standard shipments of Medicure's and partner products to wholesalers, customers, and vendors as required.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage manufacturing and development of Medicure's products, and management of work related to the product's manufacturing life cycle.
  • Managing relationships and documentation with applicable external vendors and ensuring budgets and timelines are adhered to.
  • Reach out to new vendors and managing RFP's.
  • Collaboration with Regulatory, Scientific Affairs and Quality departments to ensure adherence to cGMP and quality standards.
  • Clearly communicating project status, issues and successes.
  • Managing technical, business, and contractual relationships with external vendors, and advocating for Medicure's interests.
  • Inventory management monitoring inventory levels at wholesalers and stock out reports, assisting with serialization and coordinating drop shipments, and nonstandard shipments to customers and vendors as required.
  • Assist in the wholesaler setup of products with partner companies.
  • Performing other duties as assigned/required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience with cGMP manufacturing, ideally: 2 yrs+ and experience with cGMP packaging, in the US market
  • Experience managing external vendors and/or CRO's, ideally 2 yrs+
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
