The opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Billing & Credit, we are seeking a Billing and Credit Analyst who will be primarily responsible for preparing and supporting periodic credit, billing, and accounts receivable reporting.

In addition, the analyst will prepare, or support the preparation, of monthly pipeline invoicing. The analyst will also support the credit management function by analyzing and approving credit transactions.

What will you do?

Analyze and support credit approval and review processes
Provide analytical and reporting support for Management and cross functional teams (e.g., Commercial, Regulatory)
Prepare accounts receivable reports and PowerBI dashboards
Contribute to Commercial team initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

University Degree in Business, Commerce or Economics or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years relevant industry experience
Attention to detail and ability to capture and report information accurately
Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Able to analyze information to identify trends and critical relationships to determine underlying issues
Ability to work independently as well as able to collaborate and work with others
Excellent knowledge of standard desktop tools, especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of gas pipeline services and operations
Highly adaptable and flexible
Demonstrated ability and professionalism in dealing with sensitive information and urgent matters
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with coworkers and external / internal customers
Ability to anticipate issues and proactively put forward solutions
Experience with Microsoft PowerBI would be an asset.
Pipeline operations business acumen an asset
