Trouw Nutrition is hiring a
Beef Sales Consultant to be in/around the
Lethbridge area.

As the successful individual you will work closely on and off farm with producers and industry colleagues to manage accounts and grow new business, achieving a balance between profitability, market share and customer service.

You will be a business partner to clients, and will provide advisory services regarding optimal growth and development of their livestock.

In addition, you will work directly with administration and production staff internally, to ensure the facilitation of all aspects of order desk administration; production and delivery of feed are timely and accurate.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
Consult with our customers on their feed needs
Work closely with customers and Trouw Nutrition / Shur Gain Team, such as formulators and nutritionists
Complete transactions in internal systems. Work with logistics team on delivery schedules. Collaborate with accounting team for invoicing
Practical beef experience working on a family or commercial beef farm or experience in agriculture, customer service and sales considered a strong asset

QUALIFICATIONS:

Postsecondary education in agriculture. Will consider experience and education combination
Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational skills. Superior customer focus and ability to followup skills.
High level of integrity, respect, and work ethic.
Selfmotivated and takes initiative. Ability to work independently and on a team.

GOOD TO KNOW:

A valid drivers' license is required for this role.
Ability to travel to customers and attend sales events.
