**0.5 FTE Part-Time Regular Position (17.5 hours/week), Bargaining Unit - UFCW - Local 175
Parkdale Queen West Community Health Centre (Parkdale Queen West CHC) is a dynamic, community

General Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Chiropodist works to enhance the foot health of homeless and
under housed individuals, as well as individuals with diabetes, and seniors, by providing direct foot care,
surgical procedures, and health promotion services as part of the primary care team and programs.
Reporting Manager:
Manager, Primary Care Services***
General Responsibilities
- Assessment and treatment of foot conditions, including but not limited to diabetic foot care, nail care,
compression stockings, and procedures such as PNA/TNA/soft tissue lesion excisions.
- Instrument reprocessing.
- Works closely with staff to provide foot care within a broader multi-disciplinary team.
- May provide services at designated outreach locations in the community.
- Maintains required records, reports and statistics including supplies inventory.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized college of Podiatry/Chiropody with a certificate of practice by the College of
- Demonstrated ability to fit for orthotics.
- Experience in community-based practice and working with marginalized populations.
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a flexible manner which will ensure client access to service.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to speak a second language is an asset.
Compensation:
$63,364 to $74,056 per annum (to be pro-rated to 0.5 FTE or 2.5 days a week), plus Group
