The shift in resource is allowing for increased program development across FNHA and a longer view of how we can support First Nations people in BC.

Quality Care & Safety Liaison


Contract:
Permanent - Full Time


Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8:30 to 4:30) remote or hybrid (3 days in office)

Location:
Anywhere in BC or Metro Vancouver Area (Park Royal or Sinclair office)


About the role

As Quality Care & Safety Liaisons, you will - be responsible for supporting the continued growth of the provincial Client Experience program.

This position acts as the point of contact for care-related feedback for First Nations in B.C., which includes compliments, complaints and requests for information.

As such, you will work with the client and FNHA's regional quality liaisons to support resolution, system navigation or information sharing with the appropriate FNHA staff and/or health system partners.


About you

  • Supports the ongoing development of the quality care and feedback processes within FNHA including, but not limited to: policy analysis, workflow development, practice improvement, and data analysis.
  • Supports the development and delivery of training and education for feedback management and client experience management
  • Serves as a liaison between clients/family, regional teams, and external organizations and provides assistance to clients and families in navigating through external complaints processes.
  • Recent and relevant experience in health care services is preferred
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities and leadership
