Position Description:
Duties and responsibilities
- Help in the coordination and leadership of lab studies
- Obtain informed consent from study participants, as needed
- Perform research interviews with patients and caregivers as required by the study protocol
- Contact participants to follow up on research materials
- Administer research tasks and measures using REDCap
- Perform/assist with data collection, database maintenance and cleaning
- Monitor adverse events and follow reporting requirements
- Read and have knowledge of protocol and study measures
- Follow standardized operating procedures, and regulations and policies governing clinical research
- Assist in the preparation of study results, including presentations, progress reports, and manuscripts
- Assist in training/orientation of new research staff
- Assist in supervision of research assistants and support of trainees
Here's What You'll Need
- Postsecondary degree in psychology or related discipline, graduate degree preferred
Minimum of three years experience in clinical research, experience and interest in working with youth with mental health conditions preferred
- Experience with intervieweradministered mental health measures, experience with the K-SADS is preferred
- Tri-Council Policy Statement (TCPS 2) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification is an asset
- Strong computer skills, familiarity with REDCap is an asset
- Ability to work independently yet collaboratively within a team
- Experience working with adolescent and families is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule
Employment Type:
Full time, One year contract with possibility of renewal
