Are you passionate about guitars and have a keen eye for detail? Long and McQuade, a leading musical instrument retailer, is seeking a dedicated Guitar Quality Control Specialist to join our team.

As a Guitar QC Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality for our guitar inventory.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough quality inspections on each guitar to ensure they meet both company and supplier standards
Identify and document any defects, imperfections, or issues in the guitars
Perform necessary adjustments, repairs, or setups to bring guitars up to standard, as required
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address qualityrelated concerns and provide feedback
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and other related tasks
Assist with general warehouse duties, including receiving and organizing shipments
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the guitar QC area and the warehouse

Requirements:

A passion for guitars and a strong understanding of their components, construction, and quality standards
Attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle defects or imperfections
Basic knowledge of guitar setups, adjustments, and repairs
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with suppliers and internal teams
Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage the workflow efficiently
Physical stamina to handle the demands of a warehouse environment, including lifting and moving guitars
Proactive problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently
Previous experience in a similar role or a background in guitar maintenance is preferred
