Our growing business development team needs an energetic, creative, and motivated person to join our team as we work to fuel Capital Engineering's growth.
As we continue to take on larger and more complex projects, our team needs someone to lead, coordinate and track/analyze our proposal efforts, prepare presentations, and coordinate with Marketing and Communications on the development of new content and our social media presence.
Our
Business Development Specialist will work closely with Project Managers, Department Heads and the Senior Management Team on project pursuits and the development of new clients.
This is a full-time permanent, located in Edmonton, in-office role, no hybrid option. There is the ability to choose either a standard 5-day work week, or a condensed 4-day work week.
What will you bring to our team?
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and a drive for continuous improvement
- Strong technical writing ability
- High degree of proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Power BI and other relevant software packages
- Experience with graphic design, layout and preparation of presentations and marketing materials
- The ability to maintain an uptodate library of resumes, project profiles, presentations, and photos while in compliance with client and company standards
- Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
What do we value:
- Bachelor of Commerce, Business, Management or equivalent is an asset
- 58 years of related experience;
- Familiarity with the engineering consulting industry is considered an asset
- Fluency in both written and spoken English;
- A selfstarter with strong technical, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
