You will participate in the daily activities of our warehouses in a safe way, including activities such as truck unloading, putting away, storing, picking, truck loading, stock counting.


How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work in the warehousing, order picking, palletizing, loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Adhere to all safety and quality checks and specified rules
  • Assemble and load product on delivery trucks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Load product pallets following standard operating procedures in accordance with the daily delivery schedule

  • Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced work environment and capable of the defined physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.).
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Have or be able to obtain relevant licenses to operate equipment
  • Able to Lift a minimum of 50 lbs./25kg

What you need to know about this position

:


  • Issues HIBE materials such as tapes, glues, ink reservoirs, plastic wrap etc
  • Performs cycle counts and enters verified counts into SAP
  • Collects recycled sugar and transports it to receiving area, weighs and wraps pallet, records weight on the Candy and Sugar Weight template and loads onto trailer to be shipped to Ewen
  • Replaces full farmer TOTES/DYNOS with empty ones, weighs and records full TOTES/DYNOS weight on the Candy and Sugar Weight template
  • Performs regular equipment inspections
  • Supplies work center with appropriate materials and candy
  • Conducts returns at the end of the production order
  • Unloads trailers, separates and counts candy by piece and batch
  • Enters received candy and material into SAP
  • Moves defective candy from work center and completes appropriate paperwork
  • Receives candy, trays, direct and indirect materials
  • Ships candy and trays
  • Unloads trailers, separates and counts candy by piece and batch
  • Enters received candy and material into SAP
  • Receives, separates and puts away packaging material
  • Understand, participate and support all safety programs, policies and initiatives within the manufacturing location
  • Knowledge and understanding of SOP's and work instructions
  • Understands and follows Ewen Manufacturing food safety systems and procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring all packaged product produced meets all GMP and food safety requirements
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Computer literacy is essential and required with specific emphasis on SAP and Excel.
  • Numerical literacy is required.
  • Written and verbal communication (English) is required.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow specific and key protocols, policies, etc.
  • Some mechanical knowledge, familiarly with terms and plant systems/machines.

Education / Certifications

:


  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Updated Forklift certification ( Experience in stand up counter balance forklifts preferred)

Job specific requirements

:


  • Experience in warehouse setting required.
  • Relvante experience in forklifting driving.
  • Experience using Excel and SAP databases required.
  • Inventory
  • Customer/client service, interaction with external persons (contractors/vendors).
  • Valid Drivers License is required.
