ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
This role reports to Canada Research Chair, Nutrition Informatics.

SUMMARY

The Research Dietitian will work with the Nutrition Informatics Research Group to develop nutrition and health-related interventions and protocols in accordance with best practices.

They may also supervise trainees in activities related to research projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Applies nutrition education as well as eating and health behaviour processes and theories
Advises on the development and implementation of nutrition interventions and education tools/resources
Conducts nutrition assessments
Provides education to participants based on their assessment and the project intervention
Assists with monitoring interventions

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered with College of Dietitians of BC
Master's degree in a healthrelated field preferred
Prior research experience, particularly intervention work, an asset
Superior communication skills
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
