Requirements/Key Competencies

Must have strong mathematical skills in geometry and trigonometry
Analytical reasoning, decision making with business acumen
Proactive team builder
Effectual interpersonal, leadership and communications skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
Demonstrated interest in process improvement
Highly motivated with a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience

Education and Technical Requirements:

Certification of Apprenticeship or Qualification in either Tool and Die Maker and/or General Machinist
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a machine shop environment to tight tolerances
Technical ability to interpret drawings, models and geometrical dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T)
Proficiency in Various programming software (MasterCAM, Esprit, Vericut, Inventor etc.)
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
