Office Assistant - Leduc, Canada - Leduc LINX Connect Centre

Leduc LINX Connect Centre is an agency that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are looking for a team member for our Office Assistant position. This position is 30 hrs/week from 9:00 to 4:00 with an hour unpaid break for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00, 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 paid wellness days and benefits.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greets and directs visitors to the agency
- Monitoring access of agency and its occupants
- Provides clerical and administrative assistance to Executive Director and Managers
- Occupational Health and Safety Support
- Data entry
- Filing, faxing, scanning or photocopying
- Interaction with clients and staff
- Perform several general office duties including, but not limited to; postage/shipping, filing, updating website content, and database entry and troubleshooting.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Criminal Record Check
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Proficiency with Computer skills in MS Office, especially Word and Excel, and the ability to learn complex software quickly
- Excellent English communications skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to manage and prioritize tasks
- Effective verbal, listening and communication skills
- Able to work in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Very effective organizational and time management skills
- Able to handle complaints and unpleasant situations.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Willingness to learn new skills to better serve the agency

- Current First Aid Certificate
