Job Number:49146**Reporting to the LRT Fleet Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, this role will be responsible for providing a broad range of clerical and administrative services.

- Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring that documents are recorded and managed according to policy and procedures
- Create and maintain files and/or scanning and filing documents in accordance with Corporate/Departmental records management procedures/standards
- Format various documents, proofread reports and publications for accuracy, quality and consistency with department and city standards
- General administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of diversified word and information processing experience with a strong grasp of general office operations
- Knowledge of City of Edmonton policies and procedures and the ability to make decisions within them
- General knowledge of Edmonton Transit Service and branch lines of business would be an asset
- Ability to plan, coordinate work assignments, and summarize and prepare required materials including minutes of meetings
- Excellent proofreading skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling) with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a focus on time management and balancing competing priorities
- Experience working with SAP and SIRE would be an asset
- Proven ability to effectively handle sensitive information using discretion

The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time.
Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.
