- Maintain attractive Grocery displays and support the regional Grocery vision
- Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members
- Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices
- Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
- Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
- Merchandise grocery department and ensure that inventory levels are up to par
- Assist management with ordering and inventory control
- Encourage sales in a manner which ensures quality and effective customer service
- Working with your team and managers, plan and execute strategies to achieve sales goals
- Prepare sales reports and summaries
- Participate in training and development
- Maintain inventory of products in the health and beauty department
- Follow merchandising schematics and enhance with a flair for detail and impact
- 2+ years grocery supervisory experience
- Energetic, positive and confident disposition and ability to think creatively and quickly
- Commit to flexible working hours including some weekends and evenings
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
