    Overview

    As a Director of Product Management at Alida, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of product managers focused on delivering the next-generation customer insights platform. Based in our Vancouver office, you will report directly to the Vice President of Product Management and help drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap that supports the world's leading brands in uncovering the insights they need to run their business.

    Overview

    As a Director of Product Management at Alida, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of product managers focused on delivering the next-generation customer insights platform. Based in our Vancouver office, you will report directly to the Vice President of Product Management and help drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap that supports the world's leading brands in uncovering the insights they need to run their business. *The typical salary for this role in Vancouver is circa $170,000 per annum* Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for defining the business case, investment requirements & return on investment for products or teams within the portfolio;
    • Create and manage prioritization & sequencing sessions for features/themes & define prioritization frameworks for multiple product teams;
    • Review and approve direct report's quarterly plans and ongoing intake and replanning, and play an active role in unblocking teams as needed;
    • Make data-informed decisions based on a sound understanding of organizational priorities, customer feedback, analytics, benchmarks, industry reporting and emerging trends;
    • Hire, mentor and develop team members with product management best practices, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute to our customers and the company's success;
    • Monitor & identify customer/stakeholder needs staying current on industry standards and trends and respond by adjusting user experience and product roadmaps;
    • Communicate product vision and strategy to diverse stakeholders;
    • Regularly report on the status of development, and keep stakeholders informed of the product organization's strategy;
    • Be the voice of the customer (that means both current and future) in all aspects of the product development and delivery;
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to drive product adoption and provide effective product training and documentation.
    Skills & Experience:
    • 7+ years of product management experience for a SaaS or enterprise-level software company, preferably with B2B applications;
    • 3+ years of leadership experience and ability to lead through direct reports;
    • A post-secondary degree in computer science, business, and/or engineering, or equivalent work experience with a demonstrated background in software product management;
    • Excellent executive presence with outstanding written and verbal communication;
    • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with customers and all stakeholders within the organization;
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams that include engineering, sales, and marketing staff;
    • Proven track record for developing, managing, and launching large-scale web-based software products;
    • Highly technical and capable of wading into the details, but can also drive from 30,000-foot view;
    • Ability to juggle dozens of projects, big and small, while driving relentless product execution.
