Washrack Technician/Labourer
We are looking for a Washrack Technician for our shop in Winnipeg, MB. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who has shop experience and a passion for safety.

Pay:

- $16.90 per hour

Additional $2.25per hour for afternoons

Hours:

Rotational 8 hour shift, starting at 7:00am and/or 2:00pm

Responsibilities:

Exterior washing and assist with internal cleaning.
Hose testing/cleaning.
Pump flush.
Drive equipment.
Tank entry and confined space training
Operation of hand tools.
Wash work orders.
Tank steam for clean.
Steam product for repair.
Assist in wash order scheduling.
Boiler operation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc.
Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations
Comfortable working either indoor or outdoor ( Appropriate gear is provided)

Skills:

Positive and strong work ethic.
Must be ok working from heights over 20 ft.
Positive attitude and job performance.
Shop experience, including working around steam equipment.
Must be capable of working in wet and humid conditions and exposure to normal wash rack cleaning materials.
Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools.

Educational Requirements:

Valid Drivers License
Grade 12 or equivalent
