Job Description:

We are looking for a
Office Manager (St Francis Xavier University) to join our dynamic team. This position is a
permanent salaried full-time role.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

You are a dynamic and reliable person; you have good communication and interpersonal skills. You are committed to quality assurance and the safety of our internal and external customers. You will manage and coordinate a variety of administrative, human resources and financial-related tasks in this deadline-driven role.


How you'll make an impact:


General administrative tasks include:
- coordination of incoming and outgoing mail, answer phones, prepare documents, correspondence and forms.

  • Human resourcesrelated tasks include processing of HR updates and maintenance of employee records including time and attendance reports, personnel action and group benefits forms, and payroll processing.
  • Financerelated tasks include basic general accounting related to preparation of company financial records in accordance with our policies and procedures: accounts payable, accounts receivable, direct payments, cash deposits, invoicing, tracking inventory.
  • You may be asked to perform backup support for other locations in the same regional area.
You will be participating in training programs (classroom and virtual) as required.

You will be requested to comply with all applicable provincial/local policies and procedures, company safety and risk management policies and procedures; perform all work in accordance with established safety procedure, participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and risk assessments.

You will be asked to report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner. May perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

To be eligible for this position you must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent. 3 years' experience or more is required.
