Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

The Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative duties to support Schulich, Faculty Affairs.

The incumbent will carry out the administrative functions which may include, but are not limited to:


  • Scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Agenda preparation and minute taking for meetings
  • Survey administration (Qualtrics)
  • Work with confidential and sensitive information
  • Filing (physical and electronic)
  • Archiving files (records keeping and preparing boxes for shipping)
  • Scanning and printing various documents and labels
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets and formatting/drafting letters and other communication
  • General office support

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree, preferrably in Business/Administration/Human Resources


Experience:


  • 1 year administrative experience in an office environment

Skills, Abilities & Expertise:

  • Knowledge of general office procedures
  • Familiarity with Human Resources principles and practices
  • Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred
  • Maintain confidentiality with data and information relating to human resources activities
  • Ability to foster collaboration and respect among team members
  • Communication skills with confidence interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Customer service skills with a desire to achieve results in a professional and timely manner
  • Detailoriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to create a positive impression while interacting with others and responding to inquiries, by telephone, inperson, or electronically
  • Resultsoriented with an ability to handle many tasks and maintain a high level of individual and team performance
