Livingwaters College of Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a
Mental Health and Addiction Instructor to join our team

Primary Purpose:

The purpose of the Mental Health and Addictions Instructor is to teach students through lectures, discussions, and audio-visual presentation. Deliver instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach students using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, shop sessions, seminars, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects
Prepare, administer, and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress
Advise students on program curricula and career decisions
Supervise independent or group projects, laboratory work or handson training
Submit marked final examinations, midterm & final grades, and attendance records according to program deadlines

Qualifications:

Must have minimum 1 year experience as a
Mental Health and Addiction Instructor.

A bachelor's degree from a recognised university or college.
Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Background in health care, adult education and/or occupational health & safety related field.
Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service, compliance, and ethics.
Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.

Hours of Work:

Depends upon the class schedule.
