This position requires a competent level of communication and organizational skills that is guided by the Production Manager. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with colleagues in day to day working relationships.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the Production Manager in organizing production focused tasks including the setup of processing lines and allocating staff to achieve daily goals and KPI's.
  • Working with different production lines and lead hands to become familiar with and actively manage production areas.
  • Enter and keep track of serial #'s for the purpose of traceability.
  • Manage the ERP system to ensure all items are correctly entered and ready to ship.
  • Ensure customer quality standards are adhered to and related issues are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and respond to daytoday product and process concerns and ensure just in time delivery.
  • Effectively managing workforce, including training, coaching and discipline.
  • Decisionmaking and problem solving of any technical or scheduling issues arising during the shift.

Qualifications:


  • Must have at least 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have some leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
  • Time management and problemsolving skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and be relatively good with numbers.
  • Have good computer skills.
  • Be a Team Player.
