Job Summary:
Job Duties:
Identifies and assesses business drivers for change, opportunities for continuous improvement and divisional priorities; conducts comprehensive analysis, makes recommendations on service delivery, operational changes, and Emerge system enhancements, streamlining processes, eliminating non-value added activities and generating cost reductions within Compensation Services.
Develops business cases to address Compensation Services performance improvement goals, solutions and alternatives, risks and risk management strategies and high level schedules and costs.
Effectively engages and collaborates with Compensation Services departments to assess current state and facilitates the development and implementation of service delivery improvements.
Provides business support for Emerge (including Wageloss, Claims Information System, eHealth, and other like systems) and related systems activities; responsible for defining requirements for system enhancements and consulting with Information Technology, Business Intelligence, and Compensation Services leadership to coordinate system updates; provides technical expertise and problem-solving support to staff; responsible for preparing the Emerge and related system training environments.
As required, partners with stakeholders to establish and ensure support for Compensation Services initiatives; collaborates on the development of solutions.
Provides on-going support for divisional performance measurement and resource modelling.
Collaborates within Performance, Training & Quality to develop frameworks and templates for business cases, project plans, processes and practices (e.g. Best Practices), performance measurement and resource models.
Provides input into the annual Compensation Services planning process.
Pursues professional development through any of the following: literature reviews and research, training courses and continuing education, seminars and conferences and industry networking.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
University degree in a related field plus professional development in business or systems analytics, process reengineering, or project management
Superior knowledge of applicable WCB legislation, policy and procedure
Knowledge of business process reengineering, project management principles and change management methodology
Advanced proficiency in the use of personal computers and software in a Windows environment including Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
Superior interpersonal skills including the ability to engage, build rapport and collaborate with staff at all levels within the organization
Well-developed research and analytical skills including the ability to obtain, assess and evaluate data to problem solve and support decisions
Self-starter dedicated to continuous learning and development
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing including the ability to produce complex reports
Ability to think creatively and innovatively
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with multiple stakeholders
Ability to plan and manage multiple concurrent initiatives to completion including implementation of services delivery improvements
Ability to adapt to and lead in a changing environment
Lean Six Sigma experience would be an asset

Salary Range:
$73,802 - $92,254
Ability to communicate proficiently in both official languages (English & French) is an asset.
