What can we offer you?Role Summary
As a Storage Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a storage facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for customers.
Your primary focus will be on customer service, facility security, leasing, and overall facility management. Typical work week is Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (other hours may be required in order to show available units)Key Accountabilities
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and provide information about available storage units
- Facilitate the rental process, including completing paperwork and explaining terms and conditions
Facility Management:
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed, including security systems, lighting, and other facility infrastructure
- Manage inventory of available storage units, ensuring accurate recordkeeping
- Coordinate disposal of abandoned units
Leasing and Sales:
- Update the website to reflect all available units at any given time
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants, showcasing available units
- Negotiate and execute lease agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies
Security and Safety:
- Monitor surveillance systems and alarm systems
- Conduct regular security checks of the premises
- Program FOBS and properly record on tenants profile
Financial Management:
- Process rental payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Follow up with collections for missed payments
- Follow company guidelines for Collections timing and process
- Requires Grade 12 education.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role preferred
- Living in Tsawwassen or Ladner areas would be an asset
- Experience with Yardi Voyager, Commercial Cafe would be an asset
- Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Google Workspace; Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail etc.
- Customerfocused with strong interpersonal skills
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
