Cellula is looking to add an Accounts Payable Clerk to its Accounting team.

As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
  • Complete EFT and ACH payments
  • Process expense reports weekly
  • Run reports for Project Managers are requested
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years in an A/P role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Jobscope ERP and Sage Accounting would be an asset
  • Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes
  • Detail oriented
