Our client,
Grand River Robotics, is looking for a part-time
Human Resources Generalist to oversee all and contribute to the development of all human resources related activities.

The Human Resources Generalist will report directly to the General Manager and take part in driving Grand River Robotics' success and culture forward via employee relations and management, and sustain goals by maintaining internal policies and legislated standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with all internal and external HRrelated matters, and recommend strategies
  • Participate in developing HR related organizational guidelines and procedures
  • Manage the fullcycle recruitment process
  • Track and administer performance evaluation process
  • Perform orientation and onboarding of new staff
  • Provide coaching and support to leadership on a variety of employee relation topics
  • Maintain active presence by assessing employee engagement, soliciting employee feedback, addressing concerns and delivering company communications
  • Participate in and support Health and Safety initiatives as required, and monitor compliance
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
  • Regularly review, update and maintain the employee handbook and associated policies and documentation, ensuring that all are in compliance with legislation

Requirements and Skills:


  • Post Secondary education in Human Resources Management
  • Efficient HR Administration and people management skills
  • Excellent recordkeeping
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decisionmaking and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • 3 years' experience in Human Resources
