About this Program
Explore, develop, and ignite your passion for the world of Finance

Scotiabank's UpLIFTED Women in Finance Development program is a selective program designed for female-identifying, first

The development program will run from the beginning of January 2024 to the end of April 2024.

During the program participants will be assigned a mentor, have access to targeted workshops to help participants prepare for a career in finance, and have the opportunity to participate in candid discussions about what it means to be a woman in finance.

Program topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Career Pathways Workshops
  • Leadership Speaker Series
  • Networking and Interview Workshops
  • Technical Skills Workshops
  • Office Tours (location dependent)
Participants will also have regular 1-1 sessions with their mentors and Scotiabank career advisors.

Program Eligibility:

  • Be a current first
- or second-year student

  • Selfidentify as a woman
  • Have a passion or interest in learning about capital markets and finance
  • Have a track record of success in academics and extracurricular achievements
  • Be able to attend mentor meetings and program workshops for the duration of the program
