We create a fascinating future together As a new member of our Facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe workplace for all team members and visitors by performing maintenance and janitorial tasks.

The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize all common areas including the lobby area, reception area, cafeteria, kitchenette, and storage rooms
Clean and mop men & ladies locker room washroom
Clean meeting rooms before and after meetings
Monitor, clean and service office washrooms
When applicable, place safety hazard signs in the building including wet paint and wet floor warning signs
Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises
Remove litter and rubbish from main common areas
Complete minor repairs and building improvements as needed. Including painting, drywall repair, minor installation, ceiling tiles replacement, indoor / outdoor caulking, etc.
Remove snow and salt around building entrances as needed
Provide support to reception as needed
Make notes for night cleaning improvements and do site walk with janitorial vendor once a month to identify future improvements
Help order supplies required for Facilities Manager
Other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager

Competencies:

Ability to professionally communicate
Must have valid drivers' license
Must be able to life up to 50 lbs
Work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to complete repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
