Day Shift 6:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M
Salary Position Onsite
Vision Truck Group, Canada's largest Mack dealer is currently seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to help lead our Stoney Creek dealership.
We are seeking an energetic, customer focused, self-starter who can provide steadfast leadership, responsible for all operations and actions of the Stoney Creek Service Department, reporting to the Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work with the service team to schedule shop workload
*Assist technicians by providing technical guidance and workflow planning
*Follow dealer repair procedures as required by OEM
*Maintain high level of customer repair satisfaction
*Perform repair quality inspections before returning units to service
*Provide accurate repair estimates using manufactures published labour times
*Ensure all safety standards are followed
*Update customers with repair status and estimates
*Review completed Assist cases and work orders
*Participate in afternoon shift changeover and dispatch
- Work with Service Manager to implement and execute short, medium, and longterm goals
Health and Safety:
- Maintain good housekeeping standards with the facility through job delegation
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, rules and regulations by all employees under their supervision as required by the company and legislation
*Respond to any workplace hazards identified by the JHSC
*Investigate incidents that result in employee injury or property damage
*Ensure correct handling and storage of all products in the shop
*Respond to and correct unsafe and/or improper behaviors

Job Qualifications:
*Completion of Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
*Valid G Driver's License and good driving record
*Minimum of 1 year experience in leadership/supervisory role
*Minimum 5 years' experience in automotive or truck and coach
- 310t/310s license is an asset
*Good verbal and written communication
*Customer service oriented
*Safety focused
*Personal professional appearance
*An understanding of VTG culture would be considered an asset
