We're looking for a **Marketing Manager

Deposits and Alternate Income** who can take ownership, think critically, and has experience marketing products and services to drive growth and retention. You thrive on connecting with various lines of business to develop marketing initiatives that increase acquisition of new members to Vancity, and uptake of our solutions. Succeeding in this role will mean understanding our business, our members, the ideal marketing mix, and our brand while continuously evolving our strategy and tactics.

A typical day would involve:

Leveraging your business acumen and marketing knowledge to translate business objectives into marketing solutions.
Project manage marketing activities and prioritize initiatives that support the strategic plans
Use customer and product insights to refine target markets and simplify value propositions with the objective of getting the right message to the right person, at the right time.
Work alongside product managers and various stakeholders within and outside of Vancity to articulate ideas and concepts and be seen as credible marketer.
Managing multiple highpriority projects in a deadline and datadriven environment.
Review reports, interpret data and identifying trends that will assist in further targeting appropriate gotomarket activities
Working both independently and with the team, relying on strong influencing skills to achieve results.

You are:

Curious & innovative - you always do your research and analyze it to assess and recommend course of action on industry, political and economic trends, and to identify risks and opportunities that may impact the business unit and or designated area.

Knowledgeable - you have advanced knowledge of the concepts, practices and techniques of the related field. You know the relevant Vancity policies and procedures, strategies, functions and programs.

You have:

University Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business
10 years of professional experience in Marketing.
Proven experience leading engaged marketing teams.
Superior knowledge of Marketing delivery and all elements of the marketing mix.
Superior digital marketing skills in order to optimize always on digital marketing programs.
Superior knowledge of strategic business drivers and how these translate into marketing strategy.
Superior ability to work with increasingly sophisticated, data driven stakeholders and Line of Business leads.
Strong skills in quantitative analysis to aid in decision making.
Superior communication and presentation skills.
Strong skills influencing, and leading/facilitating group interactions.
Proven experience working collaboratively with high performing colleagues.
Ability to bring new innovative marketing approaches to life and constantly evolve best practice
Resourceful, selfstarter
Personable, collaborative relationship builder
Energetic, enthusiastic, and innovative
