POSITION MANDATE
Provides accounting services and supports Asst-Manager/Controller in financial management for Team Power Solutions/associated companies.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
Finance
- Assumes responsibility for the general accounting functions for the company and related companies; including the preparation and entry of journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers.
- Assists the Manager with completion of the monthly and annual financial statements.
- Reconciles balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts and fixed assets. Recognizes and resolves discrepancies and irregularities.
- Oversees the accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
- Makes certain all monthly, branch & department and quarterly financial reporting deadlines and statutory remittances are met.
- Develops, enhances and compiles financial & management reports and queries.
- Assists Manager in the development of procedures and policies for the department and the company.
- Assists the Controller to maximize the department's resources including cross training with the manager, assisting with AP/AR.
- Assists with maintenance and integrity of financial database information (SAP, Access, Eralis, Power BI).
- Maintains confidentiality (within and outside of TPS) of all company information learned while carrying the duties of the position.
- Complies with, upholds and participates in the company safety culture and policies.
- Complies with, upholds and participates in the Quality program and the ISO objectives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in accounting or business / commerce, with preference for those working towards or completed a relevant industryrecognized certification (Canadian CPA)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, including the preparation and presentation of complex financial and technical reports.
- Ability to problem solve through consensus, stakeholder involvement and dialogue.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Operational familiarity within joint ventures and limited partnership structures is considered an asset.
- Ability to think logically and complete detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills with an emphasis on attention to details.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Saskatoon, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
