Sales Executive - Business Acquisition

Can you effectively position the return of investment (ROI) of technology investments to senior executives in small and medium sized organizations?

  • We are looking for sales professionals who are obsessed with exceeding customer expectations and surpassing growth targets.
  • We are not your standard (traditional) sales organization. We are passionately curious about our customers' businesses and the drivers that keep owners and executives focused on their key priorities.
  • This is a challenging hunter sales role, focused on generating new growth in untapped markets. The challenge is significant and so is the reward, with the largest part of your compensation coming in the form of sales commissions.
  • As part of the Cell Phone Centre Business Solutions sales team, you represent the CPC/TELUS brand, values, and promise.

Here is what you will do

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and establishing new client relationships with business customers in the midmarket East segment
  • Create financially sound TELUS solutions to customer's business problems through understanding the technologies, products, services, and resources
  • Negotiate contractual agreements in accordance with TELUS' policy and procedures
  • Engage the necessary resources from within the extended team and external stakeholder community to fully support the needs of the business

  • This role is about creating opportunities and new business, as well as growing increasing wallet share in valued existing businesses. You own your calendar and your account strategies and can leverage an extended team to ensure your success. You will be given the "reigns" to do this in any way you deem possible; cold calling, networking events, joining associations, connect with decision makers. The Business Solutions Manager is a fast paced and activity driven roll where constant communication with prospects through all modern mediums will be key to success.
  • This is a performance based position with a base salary and competitive commission structure. The greater your drive and motivation, the greater your financial reward. The Business Acquisition Team is highly incented on securing new business, so if you're a true hunter the incentive program associated with this role will provide you with (almost) untapped opportunity.

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • You are likely in a similar position today, turning prospects into business customers. You love driving discussions about product or solution value and winning in the market.

You also have most of the following traits and experience points:

  • You've had formal sales targets or quotas for two or more years and have consistently met or exceeded them-
  • Business acumen
  • you are able to discover customer drivers and issues, then align them with solutions-
  • Communication
  • you can confidently communicate value propositions, set meetings with the right stakeholder(s) and negotiate with influence and persuasion-
  • Effective management of the full sales cycle
  • prospecting, qualification and closing. You have a track record of maintaining a full funnel and are known for accurate forecasting-
  • Background of industry knowledge in the wireline and wireless marketplace-
  • Ability to navigate through complex organizational dynamics and use influencing and negotiating skills to create desired outcomes-
  • Demonstrated capability of working effectively with cross-functional teams-
  • Excellent organization, planning and time management skills-
  • You are adept and confident using a variety of office tools and systems. Spreadsheets, presentation decks and corporate communication tools.
    Great-to-haves
  • Demonstrated success across end-to-end B2B sales processes, driving both new acquisition and growth within existing Low Wallet Share accounts-
  • Experience using SFDC (Salesforce) or similar forecasting and CRM tool
