General Manager of Construction to join our growing low rise residential team and drive us to new heights

What you'll be doing:


  • Leading a lowrise construction community in Kitchener
  • Developing, maintaining and executing the construction schedule to ensure full completion of the house prior to the closing date 100% of the time
  • Liaising between trade partners and Fusion Homes, offering direction, support and management
  • Assessing construction problems and determining solutions to maintain a desired finished product
  • Overseeing client requests and after sales service needs after predelivery inspections to ensure satisfaction and completion in a timely manner
  • Coaching, motivating and developing skills of 510 team members on site
  • Championing Health & Safety and participating in training and development initiatives as identified or requested

What you bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years experience in a General Manager / Site Supervisor role for a low rise construction builder preferred
  • 810 years' of experience in the construction industry
  • Expert in reading and reviewing blueprints / floor plans
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of people
  • Postsecondary education (e.g., Construction Technology, Carpentry, etc.) preferred
  • Hands on construction skills
  • Valid G Driver's License required
