As a Supervisor Environment, you are responsible for the performance and oversight of team employees and contractors who provide environmental support to Enbridge Project groups.
This role also ensures all work is completed in an efficient, effective, and compliant manner to support operational excellence in environmental planning and execution services.
We'd love to hear from youWhat You Will Do:
- Ensure environmental assessment, permit acquisition, and environmental inspection are proficient and cost effective by working with direct reports to optimize project work.
- Oversee and confirm environmental compliance through interpretation of legislation and guidelines, interactions with provincial and national regulators, and conformance with company policy.
- Trouble shoot potential issues and noncompliance in a proactive manner.
- Ensure the team's cost management and forecasting are accurate and appropriate.
- Drive continuous improvement of environment related processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain of effective relationships with internal stakeholders and environmental regulators.
- Manage consulting resources as appropriate.
- Participate and / or lead incident investigations, as appropriate.
Who You Are:
- A postsecondary education specializing environmental science, environmental engineering, or similar physical or biological science related field.
- At least ten years of environmental experience in pipeline, industry, or upstream oil and gas sectors.
- A selfstarter with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
- The ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills focused internally and externally, at all levels.
- Capability in planning, implementing, and leading change initiatives including ensuring adequate change leadership.
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills in sensitive and highprofile situations.
- High level of personal and professional integrity and commitment to Enbridge's values.
