SHIFTS AVAILABLE:


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights.
  • Service lavatories and potable water per company standards.
  • Connect, disconnect ground power/bridge power from Aircraft.
  • Marshall aircraft to and from gate, parking stands.
  • Wing walk arrivals and departures.
  • Operate belt loaders, baggage tractors and carts.
  • Complete daily inspection of operating equipment.
  • Complete equipment deficiency reports as required.
  • Complete preventative maintenance on GSE per the GSE Manager and preventative maintenance program (oil/filter changes etc.)
  • Complete preventative maintenance on Fleet Vehicles including fluids, cleaning, sanitization etc.
  • Troubleshoot GSE challenges and report to the GSE Manager.
  • Track and provided reports on GSE performance and deficiencies.
  • Ensure GSE is clean, well maintained and well presented at all times.
  • Enter data into HIPPO Asset Management System.
  • Ensure inventory of necessary parts, fluids and supplies is maintained.
  • Pick-Up parts and necessary station items as required using company vehicles.
  • Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.
  • Actively participate in company safety programs.
  • Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.
  • Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.
  • Take direction from ramp shift leads, ramp manager, station manager and owner.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must have valid driver's license with clean abstract.
  • Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
  • Previous airline and/or freight handling experience would be an asset.
  • Must have mechanical experience, small engine servicing experience.
  • Must have excellent team player competencies.
  • Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working varied and/or split shifts.
  • Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
