**Reception/ Patient Flow

Team Lead**One Heart Care is a stateoftheart medical Centre, specializing in the diagnosis and care of patients with cardiovascular disease. Services include cardiology consultations as well as a complete suite of

non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic testing.

As one of the largest community-based Cardiology clinics in Canada, One Heart Care expectations is to operate at the highest level of care and to provide the best patient experience out of any clinic in Canada.

As patients come to the clinic, the first two teams they will meet are the reception and the patient flow and it is important for the Team Leader to work collaboratively with all departments to maintain a positive team environment and a professional work relationship with the patients, physicians, and colleagues.

The following provides an overview of the expectations of the role and responsibilities.

Key Objectives:

Ensure the clinic day is well organized and communicate any changes that impact Physicians.
Develop training materials and provide training for the reception and patients flow team members.
Maintain operational metrics on the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and look for ways to improve and to effectively utilize resources.
Collaborate with the Booking team, Echo Team and CVT team to minimize wait times for all patients.
Develop outstanding team morale by organizing team building events.
