Hiring Unit:
School of Continuing Studies, Student Success and Enrollment Management
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed functions below:
- Be available for any emergencies the students may have
- Provide suggestions to the students on activities to do in town
- Accompany students to activities in town
- Accompany students to their classrooms during the first week of the pro gram/ orientation session if needed
- Show students where to dine on and around campus
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of McGill University and downtown campus grounds, knowledge of Montreal and activities to do in the city.
McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 on a scale of 0-4.
Minimum Education and Experience:
