Your Role

As a professor at Le Cégep de Sainte-Foy, you will collaborate with colleagues in your department to provide high-quality teaching. Your responsibilities include maintaining and updating your teaching skills, managing the classroom effectively to foster a conducive learning environment.

Specifically, you will:

• Develop course plans in alignment with institutional policies;
• Create course content and relevant teaching strategies;
• Design student assessment methods;
• Deliver courses as per the schedule;
• Grade assignments and exams promptly;
• Stay updated on your disciplinary and pedagogical skills;
• Provide guidance and support to students;
• Engage with students to enhance the learning experience;
• Participate in departmental activities and institutional committees;
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field related to Mandarin and Chinese culture;
• Pedagogical skills acquired through teaching experience or recognized training;
• Proficiency in spoken and written French.
