Your Opportunity:


As a Client Care Assistant, you will work as a team member with all staff assisting in the provision of supportive care to clients with addictions.

Your primary duties include providing supportive care to clients, ensuring a safe and secure facility, responding to client requests, communicating effectively with other staff and contributing to a therapeutic environment through interaction with clients.

As part of an interprofessional team, you will contribute to the delivery of residential services to persons with an addiction promoting client respect, autonomy, health and improved quality of life.

You will support clients to participate in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities.

You will on occasion be in community interacting with nearby business owners and/or the clean-up of drug related debris using universal safety precautions.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Experience with vulnerable populations/individuals who use illicit substances/individuals living with mental health conditions.
