Job Summary

What will you do?

  • Gain knowledge on retail banking, including the specifics of retail products, enterprise data systems and credit risk management.
  • Assist with preparing monitoring dashboards and documentation for governance or other processes and become comfortable communicating and dealing with senior members of the team

Must-have

  • Desire to learn and an eagerness to make a meaningful contribution to the team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with SQL/Teradata or other database management systems
  • Experience in Python/R or other mathematical / statistical programming languages.
  • Ability to handle and organize large amounts of data and effectively summarize / present it to other stakeholders

Nice-to-have

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of banking and finance fundamental concepts

Please note:

This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2024 Student placement with a start date of May 2024, and end date of August 2024.

In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:


  • Be returning back to school after the work term enddate of August 2024 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2024), you must require the full 4months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
