Description

Responsible for cleaning facility and equipment in a safe manner.

This position requires an employee to use good cleaning practices, knowledge of chemicals, pest control awareness, machine operating and working from heights.

A desire in cleaning and improving cleaning procedures.

Abide by all safety rules and regulations.
Know and perform specific cleaning procedures for all items listed on daily checklists and Master Sanitation Schedule.
Perform and operate CIP system on all required down days and during the week as needed.
Perform ATP & Environmental swabbing after all wet cleaning.
Machine operation and working from heights to clean facility overhead infrastructure.
Return all materials and tools used to correct storage area cleaned.
Prevent potential contamination issues and correct any incidence of product contamination.
Daily disposal of all trash, waste and recycled product.
Able to read and understand Sanitation Tasks, SSOP's, Safety Procedures, Material Safety Data Sheets, and Product Labels.
Knowledge of all equipment and facility locations as it pertains to sanitation.
Perform any requested job which will enhance product quality, food safety and bakery efficiency.
Meet or exceed the physical job functions as a sanitation employee.
Communicate any problems or potential problem to Sanitation Manager or Shift Manager.
Other duties may be assigned as business necessitates.
Follow all GMPs, Personal Safety, Food Safety Rules. Adheres to the CHG Code of Conduct.
Role model behaviors that display teamwork, respect, professionalism and that also reflect the Vision and Mission of CHG.
Demonstrates the willingness to learn as part of the organization's continuous improvement process.
Works in a safe manner and promptly reports hazards identified in the work environment.
