Role Responsibilities:


In this position you will proactively engage with a broad and diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to ensure business requirements are considered, business impacts and risks are identified, and solutions proposed by service providers are appropriate, effective, cost efficient and consistent with corporate strategic directions.

You will also work in close collaboration with specialist managers in Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Human Capital Management (HCM)/Payroll, ensuring that area insights and analysis translate into the effective functioning of 1GX processes.


Responsibilities:

Some of the role's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing 1GX incident management in support of end users and the effective resolution of issues (1st and 2nd tier).
  • Providing leadership over projects, in accordance with established project management practices and in alignment with GoA strategic direction and applicable policies, agreements and standards.
  • Providing advice, support, and recommendations to the Director and Executive Management.
  • Building collaborative relationships, developing networks, and bringing people together with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a team of professionals and administrative staff.

Qualifications:


Required:


  • University graduation in a related field such as Business Administration, Business Analysis, Computer Sciences, Information Technology.
  • 4 years of directly related experience in ERP system design, testing, implementation, and upgrades including business process requirements with consideration for cost, audit requirements and practicality.
  • Experience in project management principles, methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • Experience in mentorship, leading and developing a team of professionals.
  • Experience in leading projects and initiatives that result in large and smallscale process, workflow, and system improvements,

Equivalency:

Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:

  • 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
  • 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

Assets:


  • Certified Business Analysis Professional designation.
  • ITIL Certification
  • Project Management Professional designation.
  • Experience working in a large, publicsector environment.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience in Change management.
  • Experience in testing methodologies.
  • Experience with IT Release Management and Upgrades.
  • Experience in Incident Management.
