Reporting to the Director, Strategic Planning and Analysis.


What you will do:


  • Lead the continuous updating and maintenance of a longterm financial planning model used in the strategic planning process for scenario management, cash flow, liquidity and return projections
  • Identify and implement improvements to the longterm model based on best practices and evolving business requirements
  • Take primary responsibility for the coordination, preparation, and completion of the longterm financial plan and related deliverables in collaboration with our business partners
  • Provide longrange forwardlooking information, including scenario based financial modelling and judgment driven analytical support to key stakeholder groups including executive/senior leadership
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders including Business Unit Decision Support teams, Corporate Development & Strategy, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, and IT
  • Work with the Treasury team to forecast cash flow, debt metrics and ensure compliance with covenants
  • Develop presentation materials for executive/senior leadership
  • Establish and maintain standards, benchmarks, and scheduling of base business deliverables related to the capital forecasting and longterm financial planning process

What you will bring:


  • A professional accounting or finance designation with 6 or more years of postdesignation experience, a portion of which has been in a financial planning or business analysis role
  • Exceptional analytical acumen with the capacity to identify, scope and solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and experience producing presentation materials for executive/senior leadership
  • Extensive experience in building and operating financial models in Excel will be considered an asset
  • An excellent understanding of corporate finance and financial statement concepts
  • Ability to work independently on unstructured deliverables in a multitask, deadline oriented dynamic team environment
