Theology

Part Time, Sessional

***The Faculty of Arts at the King's University is seeking a sessional instructor in Theology for the following
course in the Fall Term of the academic year. The course meets for 3 hours per week.


COURSE DESCRIPTION
THEO 250 - Entering the Story: Introduction to the Bible

Tues., Thurs., 11:00 - 12:30

An exploration of the genres, storylines, themes and theological patterns within the Bible. We shall
engage the biblical text both as ancient literature and as Christian scripture which reveals the truth of
God, the world and humanity.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • MA or PhD in Theology or related field
  • Postsecondary teaching experience as either a primary instructor or teaching assistant
  • Assent to the University's Christian Statement of Faith
